There has never been a more exciting time to be alive. Advancement in technology and an understanding of the human being have led to a moment of extreme possibility that is profound and inspiring.

With that possibility comes a great challenge and for most of us, uncertainty. Every leader and organization in today’s world is grappling with rapid change and ambiguity.

At Kollidescope Global, we focus on exploring that unknown and the driver’s behind change and complexity that seem to be at the core of every discipline from agriculture and medicine to business and government.

While every leader’s challenges are unique, our work and experience across a wide range of sectors has given us a perspective to believe that there are two developments in the 21st century behind most of our challenges and opportunity:

 

  1. Accelerating Technology. The impact of Moore’s Law and a world where technology is improving at faster rates has led to a massive change that we rarely stop to think about in the context of our personal and professional lives.
     

  2. Complexity. As a result of more technological capability, we now have access to more information and knowledge. This, in turn, leads to layers of complexity and decision that were not as acute just a decade ago. Leaders and teams in today’s world grapple with a range of variables that once were not measurable, let alone on the forefront of strategy and planning.

 

These two trends are the hallmarks of a world where we are beginning to understand the human mind and body in a way that is opening new insights into human behavior and performance. And while those insights are building new troves of knowledge and science, they are disrupting and destroying long-standing orthodoxy.

 

The result is that whether leading a small business, a sports team, or Nation, leaders today find themselves struggling to arrange these ideas, change, and complex systems.

 

Kollidescope Global is neither a consultancy nor a speaker’s bureau. We believe that working through these ideas requires time and deliberate thought that cannot be found in a template methodology or a simple rubric.
